This is to keep family and friends scattered around the world updated on the life of Rox and (soon to be met) baby. Photos, stories, thoughts, and more!
She is so cute! I can't believe she's not even two and can sing the ABC song. Alex can recognize most of the letters, but singing is still quite a ways off, I think! Good job Sophie!!!
Oh my gosh, I'm in the computer lab at PSU trying really hard not to laugh when Sophie danced into the video camera and fell over. I'll have to play the videos at Zac's (his computer is hooked up to his giant TV) to hear them--I never remember my headphones! Sophie, I'm glad you liked your kitty card--all the way from the Oregon coast! I still tell people about her talking to the homeless people on Belmont about the kitty in the mailbox. ~Naomi
In May of 2006 I finally moved back to the motherland, after almost 5 years in Japan. The reverse culture shock is starting to fade,I no longer pull out onto the wrong side of the road, or bow to people in the supermarket. I am joined by my tiny doppleganger, Baby Sophia. The little angel amazes me with something new every day, frustrates me to no end, makes me roll on the floor laughing at least once a day, makes me want to cry about once a day (usually at 2am when sleep deprived), and has shown me unconditional love that I only hope I can live up to.
