Ariel

Sophia has been completely in love with mermaids for the last couple of months. All she wanted to be for Halloween was Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I kept thinking that she would change her mind, so I waited until the last minute to find a costume. No luck...I ended up getting some great remnant material at the fabric store and making this costume during my lunch hours this week with a borrowed sewing machine. She was so happy to have her dream of becoming a mermaid finally come true! I would say she got good use of the costume, having a halloween carnival at school on Friday, then to a church for another carnival, then trick-or-treating on Saturday night!
