We had a pretty good Christmas here in Montana. It was, of course, a White Christmas. I received my first pair of snowshoes that I CAN'T WAIT to try out! Sophie didn't really understand what was going on, but she loved pulling the bows off all of the presents. Next year, I think I will just get her a big box of bows. Christmas is so exciting with a child around. Sophie was so excited to find her new "bike" under the tree. She was in awe of the twinkling lights of the christmas tree as she sat there in her little footie pajamas, I can't even describe the beauty of it all. At this time of year, I miss all of you especially. I hope everyone had an amazing holiday and that you are all looking forward to the new year.

Thanks for the pictures! Looks like fun. Gae and I went to Sendai for Christmas and had fun with everyone, especially Hijiri (Jon and Michiko's baby). It was his first Christmas too. He'll be 1 on Jan. 3rd.
Miss you guys!

For Chris' first Christmas we had a lasagna-dinner at our home with family. Of course Chris could not enjoy mama's cuisine!!! Next year I will make a big lasagna just for him!!!
Lots of love and happy new year!!

Mmmmm, YUM! Giovanna's lasagne is the best!
Sophie doesn't even wear regular shoes yet, but can't wait for her to snowshoe too!
