Still Inside!

It's February 11th! So far my due date has been a lot more anti-climactic than I had hoped. I have been telling everyone that I know the baby will be late, but I was secretly hoping it takes after me in it's need to always be on time. It's been a great 40 weeks and I am thankful to everyone who has helped me so much during that time. The adventure is just starting though! I have been so blessed. There have been a few things about pregnancy that I don't care for, saggy bottom maternity jeans being at the top of the list, followed by having to pee every 20 minutes. However, I prefer to dwell on the things that make me happy! So, here is a list of the top ten things that make me happy...They are not all in order of importance.
10. finally looking pregnant (but knowing I will be able to wear normal clothes again soon!)
9. latin dancing
8. having a good excuse to go to bed early
7. getting messages, e-mails, and phone calls all day everyday, from everyone, just to check on us.
6. having time to watch the world news every morning during breakfast (it is intersting watching Al Jazeera just before ABC news)
5. Eating...eating...eating...no guilt
4. climbing the mountain behind our house in the morning sunlight. It has everything, bamboo forests, cedar forest, ocean view, tiny gardens...
3. The "Amazing Race" episodes, special thanks to Judith and Denver S. (someday...someday it will be me!)
2. reading baby books, folding baby clothes, pre-natal appointments
1. The excitement of everyday bringing me closer and closer to the big event!!!

I could have written a top 50 list...I keep thinking of more things, but enough for now! I have high hopes that the next post on this site will be photos of a beautiful baby! It will be all about how amazingly healthy the baby is, and how labor was no big deal...didn't hurt at all...and basically how there were no problems at all...oh yeah, and that we won the lottery
